Team IMPACT: Transforming Lives Through Sports

At The Giblin Foundation, we’re proud to support Team IMPACT, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing joy, connection, and resilience to children facing serious illnesses or disabilities by connecting them with college sports teams. Their mission is simple yet powerful: get kids out of the hospital and in the game, fostering life-changing relationships that uplift children, families, and entire communities.

What Team IMPACT Does

Team IMPACT pairs children with NCAA Division I, II, and III sports teams across the country, creating bonds that go beyond the playing field. Through programs like Match Madness, over 40 men’s and women’s basketball teams participate during the 2025 March Madness Tournaments, welcoming kids into their teams as honorary members. These relationships provide children with the joy of being part of a team, while student-athletes develop empathy and leadership. From soccer at UCLA to baseball at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Team IMPACT’s matches span numerous sports and campuses, creating lasting memories.
